Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has congratulated Buhari Sunusi Idris, the winner of the male category of the 39th National Qur’anic Recitation Competition.
Buhari achieved an impressive score of 98.2%, outperforming participants from 34 states. The competition was held in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State, and showcased the exceptional talents of Qur’anic reciters from across Nigeria.
Governor Yusuf expressed his pride and delight at Buhari’s achievement, announcing plans to host a grand reception in his honor.
As a reward for his victory at the state level, Buhari had already been granted a hajj slot, which qualified him to represent Kano State at the national competition.
