A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and former candidate for the National House of Representatives for Dala Local Government Area, Hon. Ambassador Abdurahman M. Salga, has expressed deep disappointment over the lack of public interest shown by some politicians from Kano State who are defecting to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
As a strong supporter of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Salga, who is also the Chairman of the PDP One Family, attributed the defections to selfishness, lack of public interest, fear, and greed.
Salga noted that the APC, under both the previous Buhari administration and the current one led by Bola Ahmad Tinubu, has done nothing but oppress and torture the people, putting them in difficult situations. Despite this, some senior politicians from Kano State are returning to the APC.
Salga appealed to the youth, women, and the rest of the community to stand up and not dare to re-elect any politician who has joined the APC, a party that has consistently oppressed the people since coming to power.
