The Registrar of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Kano State, Dr. Nahid Ibrahim, has urged graduands to be good ambassadors of the institution. Speaking to journalists after the university's fifth convocation ceremony, Dr. Ibrahim described the event as historic, noting that it was a combined convocation for seven sets of students.
Dr. Ibrahim expressed gratitude to God for the successful conduct of the ceremony, which included the conferment of honorary degrees on five eminent individuals carefully selected by the university's senate and council. She appreciated the visitors, chancellor, pro-chancellor, council members, and the entire university community for their contributions to the ceremony's success.
The Registrar highlighted the uniqueness of Aliko Dangote University, emphasizing its focus on science and technology. She noted that the best graduating student was from the Statistics department and commended the university's staff, many of whom were former students who graduated with first-class honors.
