A high-level delegation from the Kano State Government visited the Kano State Police Command on Saturday, August 3, 2024, to express their gratitude for the police's efforts in maintaining peace and order in the state. 

The delegation, led by Chief of Staff Shehu Wada Sagagi, included top government officials such as AVM Ibrahim Umar (Rtd), Barrister Haruna Isah Dederi, and Baba Dantiye.

The delegation was received by Commissioner of Police CP Salman Dogo Garba, who briefed them on the progress made in investigating recent looting incidents and prosecuting those involved. The delegation was impressed by the number of suspects arrested and exhibits recovered, and commended the police for their professionalism and dedication to duty.

Chief of Staff Sagagi praised the police, saying, "The Kano State Government is committed to supporting the Police in their efforts to maintain peace and order in the state. We appreciate the hard work and dedication of the officers and men of the Kano State Police Command."

Commissioner of Police CP Dogo thanked the delegation for their visit and assured them of the Command's continued commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens in the state.

The visit was a testament to the strong partnership between the Kano State Government and the police in maintaining law and order in the state. 

With the government's support, the police are better equipped to tackle challenges and ensure peace and stability in Kano State.
