Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has taken a significant step towards enhancing security across the state's 44 local government areas. He has donated 78 vehicles to the Kano Police Command to bolster their operational capacity.

The donation includes 44 vehicles for Divisional Police Officers (DPOs) and 34 Sharon cars equipped for surveillance and rapid response operations.

This support reflects Governor Yusuf's administration commitment to ensuring residents' safety and fostering a secure environment.

Governor Yusuf emphasized that safeguarding lives and property is the fundamental duty of any responsible government. He pledged continued collaboration with security agencies to enable effective service delivery.

The governor also plans to provide similar support to other security agencies, urging them to work closely with his administration to address all security challenges in the state.

Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone I, commended Governor Yusuf for the donation, urging officers to use the vehicles strictly for official purposes.

Kano State Police Commissioner Salman Dogu Garba also expressed gratitude, noting that the new vehicles would significantly enhance security personnel effectiveness.

The vehicles, equipped with the latest technology, are expected to be well-maintained to ensure longevity and reliable service.

This move demonstrates Governor Yusuf's commitment to reforms and improving security in Kano State.
