Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has directed reassigned commissioners to ensure a seamless handover and assumption of duties by Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
This directive is part of the recent cabinet reshuffle aimed at enhancing administrative performance and political realignment.
According to the Governor's spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the cabinet changes will take full effect during the next council meeting on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
The Governor emphasized the importance of completing all transition processes before then.

The recent cabinet reshuffle saw the dropping of five commissioners and the reassignment of several others ². The Governor has also directed the former Chief of Staff and the dropped commissioners to report to his office for possible reassignment.
