The Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has approved the appointment of new leaders for the Civil Service Commission, Sharia Commission, and Zakkat and Hubsi Commission.
This move is aimed at strengthening the institutions and promoting accountability, transparency, and efficiency in the state.
According to a statement issued by the governor's spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the appointments were made in accordance with established procedures and in line with the governor's constitutional powers.

The new appointees include:
-Civil Service Commission: Engr. Ahmad Ishaq as Chairman, Alh. Abdullahi Mahmoud as Permanent Member I, and Ado Ahmed Mohammed as Permanent Member II.
- Sharia Commission: Sheikh Abbas Abubakar Daneji as Executive Chairman, Mallam Hadi Gwani Dahiru as Permanent Commissioner I, and Sheikh Ali Dan'Abba as Permanent Commissioner II.
-Zakkat and Hubsi Commission: Barr. Habibu Dan Almajiri as Executive Chairman, Sheikh Nafiu Umar Harazumi as Permanent Commissioner I, and Dr. Ali Quraish as Permanent Commissioner II.
Governor Yusuf expressed confidence in the qualifications, integrity, and commitment of the appointees, urging them to work tirelessly to fulfill the expectations of the government and the people of Kano State.
