Assistant Inspector General of Police, Alhaji Ahmad Ammani Malumfashi, has reaffirmed his commitment to securing the environment and bringing criminals to justice in Zone One, comprising Kano and Jigawa States. After assuming office, Malumfashi pledged to work tirelessly with his team to achieve this goal.
To combat crime, Malumfashi outlined several strategies, including increasing patrol visibility in high-crime areas and collaborating with local communities and stakeholders to gather intelligence and build trust. He also vowed to implement targeted operations to apprehend and prosecute criminals, such as thugs and hoodlums, ensuring that the police in the zone are proactive, responsive, and accountable.
Malumfashi expressed gratitude to God for allowing him to witness achievements in his career and commended the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Kayode Egbetokun, for the opportunity to serve the nation.
