In a heartwarming display of kindness, Hon. MB Aliyu, the state House of Assembly member representing Nasarawa Local Government Area in Kano State, has provided food assistance to Christian widows and orphans.
This generous gesture aims to enable them to celebrate Christmas and the New Year in comfort.
The assistance, a first of its kind in the local government area, has brought immense joy and happiness to the beneficiaries.
According to Hon. MB Aliyu, the reason behind this initiative is to ensure that those who cannot travel to their hometowns for Christmas celebrations are not left behind.
Hon. MB Aliyu noted that during fasting and Sallah, distributions are often made, but the Christian community is usually overlooked.
However, this time, he made it a point to include them, recognizing the importance of unity and inclusivity. To achieve this, he collaborated with Hon. Joshua Maifata, Vice Chairman of the NNPP in Nasarawa Local Government Area and Chairman of the Northern Minority Tribe.
