The Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has extended deepest condolences to the Daily Trust's Editor-in-chief, Alhaji Hamza Idris over the death of his mother, Hajiya Rabi Idris yesterday in Kano.
In a statement issued by the governor's Spokesperson, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, Governor Abba Kabir described late Hajiya Rabi Idris as a woman of virtue whose life was a testament to the values of love, care, and nurturing that have shaped her children character and inspired them to success.
"Her death is a huge loss not only to her immediate family but to the entire Ummah in view of her unwavaring efforts in moulding younger ones who later prosper and become influencial members of the society." Mourned the governor
"On behalf of the Government and good people of Kano State, I prayed that Almighty Allah rewards her efforts and grant her a place among the righteous, and may her memory remain cherished, and her impact on people's life forever felt
"I also prayed to Allah to grant her family patience, fortitude, and strength to bear the irreparable loss." Prayed Governor Abba Kabir.
