Yandutse Schools Kano recently marked a significant milestone - 40 years of providing quality education to nursery and primary school students.

The occasion was celebrated with a graduation and prize-giving ceremony, which was a testament to the school's commitment to academic excellence.

The Director of Yandutse Schools Kano, Dr. George Y. Ahiome, spoke to journalists during the ceremony, reflecting on the school's humble beginnings in 1985.

He attributed the school's growth and success to divine providence, saying, "We started with just one child for three months, but through resilience and determination, we experienced an explosion of registrations, and the school has grown rapidly since then."

Dr. Ahiome expressed gratitude to the past and present administrations of the Kano State government for providing the school with the opportunity to deliver quality education to children in the state. He acknowledged that the journey had not been easy, but the school's perseverance had paid off.

The Director also thanked parents and students for their support and achievements.

He noted that the impact of Yandutse Schools could be felt throughout the country, with many of its alumni making significant contributions to society. This, he said, was a source of encouragement and motivation for the school.

In addition to celebrating 40 years of nursery and primary education, Yandutse Schools also marked 20 years since the establishment of Yandutse College.

Dr. Ahiome congratulated students and teachers on their achievements and urged them to continue striving for excellence.

The graduation and prize-giving ceremony was a fitting culmination of the celebrations, recognizing the hard work and dedication of students, teachers, and parents.

Dr. Ahiome's words of encouragement and advice will undoubtedly inspire the school community to continue pursuing academic excellence.

As Yandutse Schools Kano looks to the future, it is clear that the school's commitment to providing quality education will endure.

With a legacy of 40 years, the school is poised to continue shaping the minds of future generations and making a positive impact on society.
