The Commissioner of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Adamu Aliyu Kibiya expresses his shock over the heartbreaking passing of Aminu Sa’ad Ungogo and Sarki Aliyu Daneji, members of Kano State House of Assembly, representing Ungogo and Kano Municipal local governments respectively.

This is contained in the statement Signed by IIbrahim Abdullahi, Director Public Enlightenment Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation made available to press 

The commissioner is flabbergasted to emphasize that their demise is a great loss not only to their immediate families and constituencies but also to the state and the nation entirely, stressing that they were dedicated representatives, who served their people with commitment, humility and strong sense of responsibility.

“I, on behalf of my family and staff of the ministry, extend my hearty condolences to the grand leader of Kwankwasiyya Movement, Senator (Dr) Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, leadership of our great party, the NNPPP and the bereaved families over this painful loss. It is a loss that will forever remain in our hearts”, he sorrowfully asserted.  

The Commissioner prays that Almighty Allah (SWT) forgives their shortcomings, grants them Aljannatul Firdaus and gives their families, constituents, and the entire people of Kano State the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
