The Proprietor of Ibra Foundation School, Miringa, in Biu Local Government Area of Borno State, Malam Ibrahim Abubakar, has expressed heartfelt appreciation to Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo for his life-changing support to orphaned and underprivileged students of the school.
According to him, Professor Gwarzo, through the Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo Foundation, Kano, sponsored the education of twelve orphaned students by fully settling their school fees for one academic year. In addition, the foundation provided the beneficiaries with complete school uniforms, writing materials, school bags and footwear.
Malam Ibrahim Abubakar disclosed that the sponsored students were drawn from the Nursery, Primary and Secondary sections of the school, ensuring that learners at different stages of education benefitted from the intervention.
He described the gesture as timely and impactful, noting that it has eased the financial burden on the families of the beneficiaries and restored hope to the children, enabling them to focus on their studies without fear of dropping out.
“We sincerely appreciate Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo for this noble act. May Almighty Allah reward him abundantly and increase him in goodness. We also pray that Allah raises more individuals with similar compassion and commitment to the education of vulnerable children,” the proprietor stated.
Similarly, the Principal of Ibra Foundation School, Jibrin A. Jibrin, speaking on behalf of the management, staff and students, expressed profound gratitude to the Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo Foundation for the sponsorship.
