.Kwankwasiyya Movement is hailing a wave of resignations by political appointees and elected officials who stepped down in solidarity with their leader, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. In a statement, the Movement praised former commissioners, special advisers, managing directors, and other officials who left office, citing a commitment to integrity and selfless service over personal benefits.

These officials refused to budge despite pressure and inducements from state and federal authorities, reinforcing public confidence in representative democracy and principled leadership.

The Movement acknowledged Senator Kwankwaso had urged those who resigned to reconsider, highlighting their contributions to governance. However, many stood firm, citing incompatibility with the current Gandujiyya-led Kano State government direction.

The Kwankwasiyya Movement also commended loyal lawmakers, deputy governor, and grassroots officials who resigned, saying their actions prove the Movement's strength lies in sacrifice and social justice, not just political offices.

The statement, signed by spokesperson Dr. Habibu Sale Mohammed, warned members still in office to be professional and avoid undermining the Movement's ideals, while praising those who resigned as setting an example. "Kwankwasiyya is not built on positions or privileges, but on sacrifice, service, and pursuit of social justice," it declared.
