The Nigeria Police Ambassadors/Ex-Police Officers (EXPOLS) Kano State base has welcomed the appointment of Olatunji Rilwan Disu as Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement, Ambassador Sulaiman Kabir, President of Nigeria Police Ambassadors/EXPOLS Kano State base, described Disu as a courageous and dedicated officer who has earned recognition and awards for his service.
Kabir stated that Disu's appointment is well-deserved, given his track record and experience. He also noted that Disu is a patron of Nigeria Police Ambassadors, Force Education Unit (EXPOLS), and expressed confidence in his ability to drive reforms and improvements in the police force.
The group called on the office of the President and the IGP to provide more support for police education and infrastructure development. They also commended Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State for his contribution to Police Secondary School, Mani, and urged other governors to follow suit.
Kabir praised the efforts of Force Education Officer, Deputy Commissioner of Police Ibidapo Olubiyi Oludare, and pledged cooperation with the new IGP to enhance police education and development.
The group also expressed appreciation to former IGP Kayode Egbetokum for his service and contributions to the Nigeria Police Force, wishing him well in his future endeavors.
