Albarka Clinic has received commendation from the Chairman of Dala Local Government, Alhaji Surajo Ibrahim Imam, for its tireless efforts in providing specialized healthcare services to the underprivileged members of the community.
This recognition came during a courtesy visit by the clinic's management team to Alhaji Surajo Imam's office.
Alhaji Surajo Imam praised Dr. Mohammad N Salihu, head of Albarka Clinic, for his continued support to the local community, citing his tenure as Medical Director at the Dala Orthopedic Hospital.
He assured Dr. Salihu of a strong partnership between Dala Local Government and Albarka Clinic to enhance healthcare services for Dala residents.
Dr. Mohammad Nuhu Salihu expressed gratitude for the recognition and announced a new initiative: offering free dental cleaning and dental implants to 300 low-income residents of Dala Local Government.
This program aims to address the lack of dental hygiene awareness and subsequent health issues in the community.
Malam Kabiru Dalha highlighted the motivation behind the initiative, emphasizing the importance of dental implants for proper chewing and nutrient absorption.
He noted that many community members with missing teeth do not opt for implants, leading to health complications.
Hon. Auwal Ibrahim Shuaibu Kabuwaya, head of the local councilors, appreciated Albarka Clinic's initiative and assured them of support in identifying eligible beneficiaries.
The partnership between Albarka Clinic and Dala Local Government demonstrates a commitment to improving healthcare services for the underserved population, aligning with global efforts to strengthen public financial management systems and health financing policies for universal health coverage.
