Dala Local Government has officially sworn in its new Secretary, key Councilors, and special advisers to the Local Government Chairman at the local government secretariat.
The swearing-in ceremony was presided over by Magistrate Alhaji Ibrahim Gwadabe, while Dr. Nura Abbas translated the oath into Hausa for better comprehension.
Chairman Alhaji Suraju Ibrahim Imam urged the newly sworn-in officials to uphold loyalty and prioritize their duties, emphasizing collaboration among councilors to advance the local government area.
He advised councilors to propose strategic projects to elevate Dala Local Government's position in Kano State.
Alhaji Suraju Imam committed to revenue generation without favoritism, prioritizing health and educational development for community welfare. NNPP party leader Alhaji Dayyabu Ahmad Mai Turare called on councilors to prioritize community needs over personal interests, fostering unity for the greater good.
Dr. Abdullahi Ahmad stressed the importance of integrity, honesty, and justice, emphasizing that officials must uphold their oaths and work diligently for Dala Local Government's progress.
