The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has issued a stern warning to the public, disowning online publications.
In a statement, Retired Major General AM Jibrin, Secretary of the Board, cautioned that the purported online publications did not emanate from the CDCFIB and should be disregarded.
The Board emphasized that authentic recruitment information for the Nigeria Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service, and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence will be published in at least two national dailies and on their official website.
General Jibrin warned the public to be wary of fake recruitment syndicates and racketeers, who may demand payment in exchange for job slots.
He reiterated that the recruitment process is free, and anyone dealing with unauthorized sources does so at their own risk.
