A chieftain of the NDC Kwankwasiyya movement in Kano State, Ambassador Hon. Yusuf Darma, has called on the people of Kano State and Nigerians at large not to allow themselves to be used through the sharing of food items and motorcycles by the APC to vote for the party and plunge the nation into more hardship.

He said the ruling party has failed in improving the lives of the people and enhancing security, throwing the nation into hardship and poverty, and is now sharing money and motorcycles in the name of empowerment to woo the poor to vote for it in the forthcoming elections.

"People should protect their freedom and ensure they elect leaders who will improve their lives and enhance security and peaceful coexistence. Because whatever you are given to vote for something that will increase the suffering of the people, that suffering will also affect you," he said.

Hon. Ambassador Yusuf Darma called on Nigerians to vote for credible candidates of his party, the NDC, in the 2027 elections, saying the presidential  candidates Obi and Kwankwaso fielded by the party are courageous people who have a passion for the development of the people, and they should be supported to achieve victory.

He added that at the Kano State level, they have a governorship candidate under the NDC Kwankwasiyya, the former Deputy Governor of Kano State, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo  He described him as an honest and trustworthy person who helps in developing the community and has a good political history from the grassroots.

He therefore called on the people of Kano to support Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo and Mustapha Rabiu Musa in order to remove the government that the people of Kano elected under the Kwankwasiyya movement, which has betrayed them by collaborating with the party that is putting the people of Kano and the nation at large into hardship.
