"*The Kaduna State Government is working to resolve the pressing issue of land disputes in Mahuta.*

"The people of Mahuta community located near National Eye Center in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State Nigeria frankly exemplifies the leadership style and calm method of the esteemed Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Dr. Uba Sani.

"Considering that he is full of dedication and focus, and how he is working tirelessly to restore and mutually constructed the dignity of the state by specifically resolving the disputes characterise from the root of misunderstanding between farmers, landowners, and herders across Kaduna State."

"This underscores Governor Uba Sani's commitment to justice, peace, and the welfare of the people."

The Mahuta community extends its heartfelt appreciation for your efforts in trying to resolve the protracted land disputes between our community, the National Eye Center, and Interland Company.

"The way you entrusted the responsibility of resolving the issue to the Kaduna Geographic Information Services (KADGIS) is what we thought will be the best. This is a positive step to fruit out justice among the natives of the state.

"It wasn't a swift or hasty decision, but rather a deliberate action.
However, we were shocked to discover that some individuals, including retired soldiers and policemen, with whom we are currently in court over land disputes, were being given Certificates of Occupancy over our lands and being allocated land in the same area. What's more, these individuals have no connection to this land; they purchased it from Interland Company, with whom we are also in court with as defendants. The KADGIS is also a defendant in the suit of KDH/KAD/159/2015 and surprisingly, we discovered that the Director General of KADGIS might not be fit to steer the ship of this settlement as he has shown clearly that he is leaning towards the same people who he has issued with CofOs while the case was still pending.
"However, we suspect that some former government officials within the KADGIS agency are attempting to undermine the Director General's efforts, motivated by a desire to prevent this administration from succeeding. Nevertheless, we appreciate the Director General of KASUPDA's diligent work in line with the Governor's directives, demonstrating a commitment to peace, progress, and the well-being of the government and society as a whole.

As law-abiding citizens and members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) who wish the Governor well, we are bringing this matter to the attention of the Governor's Special Adviser, who is known for fairness. We urge you to swiftly intervene in this issue to restore order and address our grievances as previously instructed.
It appears that this issue can better be resolved by the Attorney General who is a lawyer and knows the implications of the case in court not a non-lawyer who will bring the hard work of the Governor to disrepute as a result of impulsive moves that jeopardises the pending case.
We know our governor is a peace maker and we appreciate that greatly...

We seek lasting peace not only in Kaduna State but across the Nation in general. May Almighty God bless our dedicated, generous, and respectful Governor Senator Dr. Mal Uba Sani and the State.

Signed Ihsan Development Forum, MAHUTA.
