ADC and other Opposition parties gathered at Mambayya House in Kano State on June 17, 2025, aimed at redefining Nigeria's politics.
Balarabe Rufai, the Kano Central former Senatorial Candidate and Member of the National Working Committee of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) during his address emphasized that the coalition seeks to bring about a new era of leadership that prioritizes the needs of ordinary Nigerians.
The coalition's objective is to address the country's pressing issues, including poverty, unemployment, and insecurity.
According to Rufai, these issues have worsened over time, and the coalition aims to provide a new direction for Nigeria. "We are not gathered as PDP, ADC, Labour, SDP, APC, or any one banner," Rufai said. "We are gathered as Nigerians who have had enough—enough of recycled failure, enough of empty promises, and enough of a system that rewards power while punishing the people."
Rufai noted that Nigerians are tired of slogans and want action. "They want food, jobs, justice, security, and dignity," he emphasized, highlighting the coalition's focus on delivering tangible results. With its bold vision and united front, the coalition is poised to shake up Nigeria's politics and bring about a new era of leadership that truly serves the people.
