Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has been awarded the prestigious title of Governor of the Year in Infrastructural Development at the 15th African Achievers Award. The ceremony was held at the historic Westminster Palace, House of Lords, London.
The award, presented by the Deputy Mayor of London, Mr. Mete Coban, recognizes Governor Yusuf's transformative projects aimed at modernizing Kano State. These projects include large-scale road construction, urban renewal programs, and the rehabilitation of critical public facilities.
According to a statement issued by the Governor's spokesperson, Sunusi Dawakin-Tofa, the award is a testament to the Governor's commitment to delivering inclusive development.
