Kano State Deputy Governor, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, commemorated his 65th birthday by visiting his late mother's grave at the Farm Centre Cemetery in Kano.
Gwarzo, accompanied by government officials, family, and Islamic clerics, offered special prayers for his mother's eternal rest. The visit was a poignant reminder of his mother's influence on his life and values.
Gwarzo described his mother, Hajiya Rabi Abdullahi, as a virtuous and selfless woman who shaped his life and public service. He recalled her discipline, compassion, and faith, which continue to guide him.
The Deputy Governor expressed gratitude to Allah for another year of life and service, acknowledging leadership as a trust to impact lives positively. He prayed for Kano State's peace and progress.
"My mother remains the foundation of my values and principles. Her teachings and sacrifices continue to shape my life and public service," Gwarzo said.
