Hon. Magaji Ya'u Indabawa Kano state ADC chairmanship aspirant has criticized APC Government under President Bola, citing economic hardship and insecurity.
He said this while speaking with the press at a meeting of former CPC members who joined ADC, announcing their support for Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso's leadership.
Indabawa noted that Tinubu's removal of fuel subsidies has led to increased poverty, with petrol prices rising from N175 to N1,350 per liter. He lamented the struggling economy, lack of electricity, and closure of businesses.
He contrasted this with the expected role of government in alleviating suffering, saying Tinubu's administration is worsening conditions. Indabawa urged Nigerians to join ADC, advocating for change and relief.
Magaji Ya'u Indabawa said the meeting aimed to show support for Kwankwaso's leadership ahead of the 2027 elections. Indabawa, a former CPC member and former APC member who served as special aide to fomer Kano.state Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje , said many former CPC stalwarts are joining ADC, citing lack of opportunities in APC despite their contributions to its formation.
The former CPC members will visit Kwankwaso to pledge their support, believing his leadership will bring prosperity to Kano and Nigeria.
