Former Deputy Governor of Kano State, Kwamred Aminu Abdussalam, has resigned from his position, citing a plot by the Kano State Government and its allies to frame him up due to his refusal to join the APC party and betray the Kwankwasiyya movement.
Ambassador Yusuf Darma, a close associate of Kwamred Abdussalam, revealed that the resignation followed attempts by the state assembly to investigate and discredit him, allegedly due to his loyalty to the Kwankwasiyya movement.
Darma stated that Kwamred Abdussalam's resignation has exposed the government's plot, and that he had been targeted for refusing to join the APC party. He added that the government's allies had been trying to find a replacement for him, but have been unable to do so due to uncertainty over who to appoint.
The people of Kano State have seen through the government's attempts to frame Kwamred Abdussalam, recognizing him as a man of integrity and honesty, Darma said. He expressed confidence that Kwamred Abdussalam be vindicated and that the government's allegations withdrawn.
Kwamred Abdussalam's decision to join the ADC party is a show of support for the Kwankwasiyya movement led by Senator Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, aiming to bring development and progress to Kano State and Nigeria.
Ambassador Yusuf Darma expressed optimism that the ADC would achieve success in the 2027 elections, with God's blessing.
