Pluck Global Construction Company has addressed concerns raised by the Federal Government College Kano Old Students Association (FGCKOSA) regarding a land concession agreement at Federal Government College, Kano.
In a statement signed by Managing Director Musaddiq Ado Bala Talle, the company clarified that the agreement involves remodeling the school and delivering critical infrastructure in exchange for a portion of underutilized land, approved by relevant authorities.
The ₦8 billion project includes construction of new facilities, renovation of existing structures, and procurement of equipment, at no cost to the Federal Government. Works include:
- Skills Acquisition Centre
- Staff quarters and hostels
- Sports complex and health centre
- Solar power alternative
- Renovation of classrooms, laboratories, and library
Pluck Global receives 40% of the 33-hectare land as investment return, while 60% and improved facilities stay with the school. Possession of allocated land is contingent on project completion.
The initiative aims to enhance Federal Government College Kano's legacy, providing world-class infrastructure without burdening public resources.
