Residents of the 15 local government areas of Kano Central have called on the National Youth Leader of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Hon. Balarabe Rufa’i Sorondinki, to contest for the Kano Central Senatorial seat in the 2027 elections.
The community described Balarabe Rufa’i as a dedicated and upright young man committed to grassroots development. They said they have confidence in his passion and determination to bring about meaningful change among the people.
According to them, his candidacy for the Senate would help drive sustainable development in Kano Central.
They also commended his role within the ADC, particularly for creating opportunities for young people in politics and for his steadfastness in advancing the party without wavering. They noted that this demonstrates his suitability to represent them in the Senate.
The community and ADC stakeholders in Kano Central further stated: “The time has come for you to answer the call of the people of Kano Central’s 15 local government areas. Just as the ADC national leadership has pledged to give young people senatorial tickets in every state, you are the people’s choice and the most qualified for Kano Central. The community is waiting for you, please answer them.”
