The gubernatorial candidate of the NDC in Kano State under the Kwankwasiyya movement, former Deputy Governor Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, has been described as a man of truth, trustworthiness and respect for the people.
Hon. Yusuf Hassan Darma stated this while affirming that it is these qualities that have earned him the people’s full confidence and made him deserving of the ticket he was given.
He added that Comrade Aminu Abdussalam’s trustworthiness is why he has never deviated from the line of their Kwankwasiyya leader, the NDC Vice Presidential candidate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.
He noted: “*Comrade Aminu Abdussalam is a seasoned politician who started politics from the grassroots. People trust his political journey because he stands with the masses in every situation*,” Darma said.
Hon. Yusuf Hassan Darma, who is one of Comrade Aminu Abdussalam’s close political allies, described him as a man of his word, one who stands for truth and justice, and who is committed to the progress of the people.
In conclusion, he called on the people of Kano State to give the NDC candidates full support and cooperation at all levels of the election in order to secure victory.
Hon. Yusuf Hassan Darma said he is confident that Comrade Aminu Abdussalam will bring meaningful change and address the problems that the current Kano government has neglected if he becomes Governor of Kano in the 2027 election, God willing.
