Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabiru Yusuf, has reaffirmed his commitment to improving the welfare of civil servants as he receives the highly anticipated report from the state's Minimum Wage Committee. 

The report, presented by Committee Chairman Usman Bala, outlines recommendations for enhancing the state's minimum wage structure.

Governor Yusuf expressed confidence in the committee's work, acknowledging their thorough research and wide consultations. He emphasized that their recommendations will guide the government in implementing economically viable and sustainable policies.

The committee's proposals were crafted with careful consideration of Kano's current economic conditions. 

The Chairman Usman Bala expressed confidence that the new wage structure would be durable, sustainable, and positively impact civil servants' financial stability.

Governor Yusuf reassured civil servants of his administration's dedication to fulfilling campaign promises, particularly regarding their welfare. 

He urged patience as the government reviews the committee's recommendations to ensure compliance with constitutional guidelines.

The final decision on the report will be made public next week. 

Governor Yusuf requested understanding from all parties as the process moves forward.

The Minimum Wage Committee, led by Usman Bala, Special Adviser to the Governor on State Affairs, was tasked with reviewing and recommending improvements to the state's minimum wage structure.
