Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State paid a heartfelt condolence visit to the residence of Sunusi Bature, Director General Media and Publicity, Kano Government House, following the tragic loss of his son, Abubakar Sadik.
The governor was accompanied by his deputy, Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo, Chief of Staff, Alhaji Shehu Wada Sagagi, and other government officials.
The visit was a gesture of sympathy and support to Bature and his family during this difficult time.
The state chairman of NNPP, Alhaji Dr. Hashim Dungurawa, offered prayers for the deceased, requesting God Almighty to grant him Aljannatul Firdausi and his parents the strength to bear the loss.
Late Abubakar Sadik, just 15 years old, passed away due to post-surgical complications at an Indian hospital.
The governor took the time to meet with the mother of the deceased and other family members, offering his condolences.
Governor Yusuf's visit demonstrates his commitment to standing with his community in times of need.
Similar gestures of support have been seen in other states, such as when Governor Sanwo-Olu paid a condolence visit to the family of late Rotimi Akeredolu.
The Kano State Government and NNPP party leaders have rallied around Bature, showing solidarity during this challenging period.
As the family and loved ones mourn the loss of Abubakar Sadik, they can take comfort in the outpouring of support from the community.
May the deceased rest in peace, and may his family find strength and solace in the days ahead.
