During a visit to the students at Sharjah University in India, Governor Yusuf expressed pride in their dedication and accomplishments, describing their success as clear proof of the benefits of investing in education.

The governor's visit was part of the state's 100:1 Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme, which aims to sponsor 1,001 students for postgraduate studies abroad.

Governor Yusuf revealed that his visit provided an opportunity to engage directly with the students, addressing their challenges and gathering valuable insights from the pioneer batch of over 400 students sponsored to various universities in Uganda and India.

Governor Yusuf emphasized his administration's unwavering commitment to advancing education, highlighting that nurturing young talents is central to his government's vision for a prosperous Kano State.

He noted that the resources allocated to the scholarship program were wisely spent, as the students had surpassed expectations with their remarkable academic results.

The governor's visit also enabled him to conduct an on-the-spot assessment, aimed at enhancing preparations for the next set of beneficiaries, both for foreign and domestic scholarships.

This initiative reaffirms his administration's belief in education as a transformative tool for societal growth and development.

Governor Yusuf's visit serves as an inspiration for students to strive for academic excellence, both at home and abroad.
