This was made known in a statement released by the governor's spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Monday.

During a condolence visit to the Jaba community in Ungogo Local Government, Governor Yusuf led a high-powered government delegation to commiserate with the bereaved family.

He described the death of Hon. Abdussalam as a profound loss, not only to his immediate family but also to the entire people of Kano State and Nigeria.

He acknowledged Abdussalam's significant contributions to strengthening inter-community relations and advancing the interests of the Yoruba community in Kano.

The governor's visit was a testament to the high regard in which he held the late special adviser.

His presence provided comfort to the grieving family and demonstrated his commitment to unity and cooperation among the diverse communities in Kano State.

As the governor prayed for Allah's mercy upon the departed soul, he urged the family to find solace in the impactful legacy Abdussalam left behind.
