Abuja Network News sincerely apologises to Mr. Okoi Ofem Obono-Obla (popularly known as Okoi Obono-Obla) over an editorial error in our earlier publication titled “APC Has Betrayed Fubara – Obla.”
In the course of reporting, Mr. Austin Okoi—who was the individual quoted in the story—was wrongly attributed and linked to the name Okoi Obono-Obla, leading to an unintended misidentification.
We wish to clearly state that this was a purely editorial error. The story has since been corrected to properly reflect Mr. Austin Okoi as the quoted source, while acknowledging that Mr. Okoi Ofem Obono-Obla was wrongly referenced.
We deeply regret any confusion, misrepresentation, or inconvenience this error may have caused Mr. Okoi Ofem Obono-Obla. Abuja Network News takes full responsibility for the lapse and has reinforced its editorial review process to prevent a recurrence.
We extend our sincere apologies to Mr. Okoi Ofem Obono-Obla and our readers.
