A chieftain of the NDC Kwankwasiyya in Kano State, Ambassador Isyaku Yahaya Talba from Kumbotso Local Government Area, has called on Nigerians, especially male and female youths, not to allow rogue politicians to use them to cause unrest as the country enters the 2027 electioneering season.
He made the call while speaking with journalists.
He said At a time when what is needed is change to rescue Nigerians from the various hardships imposed on citizens by the ruling party, youths must prioritize self-respect and the pursuit of freedom. They should avoid any politician who seeks to use them to cause conflict."
Ambassador Talba noted that the effort to ensure youths are not used to foment trouble is in line with the principles of their leader in the Kwankwasiyya movement, the NDC Vice Presidential candidate, Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, who has been teaching them to uphold decency and good conduct.
He added that the NDC under the Kwankwasiyya platform will conduct its campaign in an orderly manner to ensure the victory of *Peter Obi and Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso* as President and Vice President.
In Kano State, he expressed confidence that by the grace of God, their gubernatorial candidate under the NDC, Aminu Abdussalam, and his running mate Mustapha Rabiu Kwankwaso, along with all their candidates for Senate, House of Representatives and State Assembly, will emerge victorious.
He alleged that the previous administration "betrayed the people of Kano" after defecting to the APC and joining forces with others to reverse the developmental strides brought to Kano by Kwankwaso.
Ambassador Isyaku Yahaya Talba called on all Nigerians to give the NDC their support and cooperation so that the party can bring policies that will improve the country, ensure peace and stability, and promote education and prosperity.
