A prominent leader in Hausa land and advocate for peace, 'Ambassador Hajiya Samira Bala Usman "Tauraruwar kasar Hausa ,Jagaban Matan Najeriya", has called on women and youth to exercise their rights as citizens and ensure that the 2027 electioneering campaigns and elections are conducted peacefully.
Hajiya Samira described women and youth as the foundation of success in every election."She said the time has come for them to use this opportunity to vote for candidates who deserve it, not those who will use them to pursue selfish interests and harm the community.
She said "Young men and women, come out and vote for what will develop this country. Do not accept small gifts that are worthless. Because it will harm your local government, your state and your country, and plunge you into hardship for the next four years."
"TauraruwarKasa rHausa" also called on women to come out with confidence and vote for leaders who are just, patriotic, and people of integrity.
She further warned the youth not to allow themselves to be given money or drugs to be used to cause unrest in the community.
She said "Those who will get you to do the wrong thing, once they win the election they will no longer recognize you. They will not help you with education, or jobs, or anything that will improve your lives. They only use you during election campaigns."
She further emphasized that the youth should set a good example in the upcoming election by refusing to be used. She added that anyone who contributes to harming the community, Allah will question them on the Day of Judgment.
Ambassador Hajiya Samira Bala Usman prayed that Allah grants that the 2027 electioneering campaigns and elections be conducted peacefully at every level. She expressed hope that good leaders will emerge from the level of President, Governors, Senators, down to members of the National and State Assemblies.
