Kano State has been fortunate to have a courageous, compassionate and people-oriented governor in the person of Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf, whose administration prioritises the welfare and development of the people, Hon. Nura Abubakar Mustafa Maikarfi Dala has said.

Maikarfi Dala, who is the Personal Assistant to Senator Rufai Hanga, representing Kano Central Senatorial District, and Director III of Engagement with Small and Medium Enterprises, made the remarks while speaking with journalists.

He said Governor Yusuf had demonstrated purposeful leadership by initiating and executing numerous development projects across Kano State, covering both urban and rural communities. According to him, the governor's commitment to improving people's lives reflects his determination to ensure that the benefits of governance reach residents across the state.

He added that Governor Yusuf was a leader who listened to advice and surrounded himself with capable individuals who provided valuable guidance to support his administration's development agenda. He noted that such an approach had contributed to the implementation of projects aimed at addressing the needs of the people.

Maikarfi Dala expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) would secure victory across the state in the 2027 general elections, attributing his optimism to the administration's ongoing projects and their impact on communities across Kano. He maintained that the benefits of these initiatives would strengthen public support for the party.

He further commended Governor Yusuf for sustaining the execution of development projects despite the approaching 2027 elections. He contrasted the governor's approach with that of some other administrations, which he said tended to abandon projects as election campaigns intensified, adding that Yusuf's commitment to his Kano First agenda had kept people-oriented development at the forefront of governance.

Maikarfi Dala also praised the decision to establish the APC campaign council, describing its composition as a strategic move to strengthen the party ahead of the 2027 elections. He said the selection of individuals from diverse backgrounds with strong reputations and widespread public support would help mobilise voters and position the APC for victory at all levels in Kano State.
