The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Kano State at the Ministry for Local Governments, Hon. Alhaji Bashir Abubakar Galadima has expressed great satisfaction with the ongoing capacity-building workshop on the review of local government budgets taking place in Kaduna State.
Hon. Bashir expressed his special gratitude to the dedicated Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Hajiya Fatima Ibrahim Barde. He said there is no doubt that the Governor has put a square peg in a square hole, as she is working tirelessly for the progress of the Ministry, working side by side with her Directors.
He said, as political appointees delegated by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, they are witnessing everything happening in the Ministry. There is no doubt she deserves commendation for her dedication and commitment, and the success being recorded is as a result of full cooperation and acceptance of advice from all stakeholders in the Ministry.
Hon.Bashir Abubakar Galadima added that they thank Almighty Allah for the success Kano State is recording. He revealed that very soon, in the month of November, there will be a special session to scrutinize and produce the 2027 budget document, to collate those of the 44 Local Governments of Kano State and submit them to the Kano State House of Assembly for review and consideration.
He emphasized that all items included in the budget confirm that the Ministry for Local Government Affairs has done what is necessary.
