The Vice Chancellor of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil, Professor Musa Tukur Yakasai, has been commended for his dedication and efforts in driving development at the university, which has attracted federal government intervention projects to benefit the institution and its students.
The commendation came from Amb. Sulaiman Kabir, President Nigeria Police Ambassadors (Expols), Kano, during an interview with journalists.
“The commitment, diligence, and hard work of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Musa Tukur Yakasai, have made the Federal Government approve projects that will support the growth of the university,” Amb. Sulaiman Kabir said.
He added that among the approved federal projects is the provision of solar-powered electricity for the university, which will greatly support its operations.
Sulaiman Kabir also praised the Chancellor of the university, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, for his continuous efforts in developing the institution across various sectors. He noted that Dangote has already begun fulfilling the pledges he made during his speech at the convocation ceremony held in May last year.
The Expols Kano President further applauded the Director General of the National Energy Commission, Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi, for his contribution to the approved projects at the university.
Sulaiman emphasized that “the Vice Chancellor of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology, Wudil, Professor Musa Tukur Yakasai, through his passion and steadfastness, has contributed to the visible successes and progress recorded at the university since he assumed office.”
He added that Professor Musa Tukur Yakasai’s dedication, selflessness, and passion for education are the reasons Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf often sends him to represent the state at important gatherings in various universities because of his expertise.
