Hon. Hassan Shehu Hussain (HASH), member representing Nassarawa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, has inaugurated the Central Working Committee (CWC) of the HASH 2The Continuity Project, expressing confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will win the forthcoming elections. Hussain currently represents the constituency on the APC platform.
Speaking at the inauguration, Hussain said a campaign committee would be constituted from the leadership level to work with the newly inaugurated CWC towards mobilising support for the party across the constituency. He expressed satisfaction with the calibre of people selected to serve on the committee, saying their presence had given him confidence in the project.
“The committee members I have seen here have given me great peace of mind. I have seen signs that before 11am, this party will have swept all the elections,” he said. Hussain thanked the members for accepting the responsibility and assured them that, if given another opportunity to represent the constituency, he would continue working to meet the expectations of his constituents.
He also said the APC in Nassarawa Local Government would have no excuse for failure, arguing that the party’s administration had delivered projects and programmes that benefited the people. He urged party supporters and members of the new committee to remain committed to grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections.
Hussain further pointed to projects executed by the Kano State Government under Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, while noting that elected representatives at the National Assembly had also contributed to development through constituency projects and various forms of support to residents. His constituency office lists infrastructure, education, healthcare and empowerment among areas of focus.
The newly unveiled structure, titled HASH 2027 Continuity – Contact and Mobilisation Structure, comprises units responsible for ward coordination, stakeholder engagement, community and special outreach, communication and media, as well as organisations and associations. The structure also includes dedicated desks for religious leaders, professionals, security and intelligence, political party leadership, government organisations, youths, women, students and sports groups.
The CWC also announced the Ward Sub-Central Working Committee (Ward Sub-CWC) as the grassroots coordination structure. It will be headed by the Ward Coordinator and include contact and mobilisation, stakeholder engagement, community, religious, professional, security, political, media, youth, women, student and sports outreach units, alongside an information, records and reporting unit. The committee will report through the established channel of functional units, Ward Coordinators, the CWC Secretariat and the CWC leadership.
