A chieftain of the APC in Kano State from Fagge Local Government Area, Hon. Haruna Kabiru Wakili, has described the North-West zonal rally held in Kaduna — for the endorsement of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's candidacy and the presentation of flags to gubernatorial candidates of the zone as a huge success that shows the acceptability of the APC in the hearts of the people.
Hon. Wakili said the massive turnout of thousands of people from different states who filled the venue has confirmed that Nigerians believe in and are satisfied with the policies and programmes of the APC across the country.
He added that the large number of APC supporters who came from Kano State to attend the rally is a clear testimony of their support for the Governor of Kano State, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, alongside all Senatorial and House of Assembly candidates. He said they are ready to give total support to ensure the party's victory in the 2027 elections.
“If you look at the developmental projects being executed by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, from education, water supply, healthcare delivery, road construction, to empowering both male and female youth to become self-reliant, it is a great achievement that everyone can see,” he said.
Hon. Wakili also commended the quality representation of the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator representing Kano North, Barau I. Jibrin, saying his visible projects in education, agriculture and community development go beyond Kano North and cover the entire Kano State. Likewise, other elected members of the APC at all levels are continuing to execute people-oriented projects.
Finally, Hon. Haruna Kabiru Wakili called on the people to continue to support all APC candidates at all levels with unity, and to ensure they collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs), as that is the weapon that will guarantee victory for their candidates in the forthcoming election.
