The Forum of Former Managing Directors of Kano State Agencies and Parastatals has congratulated Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, CON, on his appointment into the APC Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 elections.
In a statement, the Forum said Dr. Ganduje was given the responsibility of mobilising senior citizens and other critical stakeholders for the Tinubu/Shettima ticket.
The former MDs, who served under Ganduje between 2015 and 2023, described the appointment as well-deserved. They noted his experience as Commissioner, two-term Deputy Governor, Governor of Kano, and former APC National Chairman.
They expressed confidence that his political maturity and national network will help deliver victory for the APC in 2027, and pledged their full support and loyalty to him.
“We witnessed his commitment to institutional development and grassroots transformation firsthand between 2015 and 2023,” the Forum stated.
They added that with his track record as Kano Governor and APC National Chairman, “few leaders can match his experience in contemporary Nigerian politics.”
The group prayed for Allah’s guidance for Dr. Ganduje as he leads efforts to secure victory for the APC in 2027.
